The W8QYT Summer QTH, a cabin in the cool woods beside Lake Huron on Michigan's Upper Pennisula

W8QYT descibes his summertime shack as   "kind of a microboatanchor station. Both the DX-60 and the Drake B line will drive the old Dentron to about 1200 watts pep output on AM, which is just about 150 less than the Johnson
500 will do. Antenna is a 80/40 parallel dipole feed with tuned feeders 
that cover  80 thru 10  meters including the WARC bands".

W8QYT:  "I have run marine mobile with my Gonset G-76 and a Butternut vertical clamped to the side rail of the pontoon boat. It really got out well with 3000 pounds of aluminum sitting out on the water".
