The
upgraded
AA0RQ multi-mode operating position featuring an Multi-Elmac AF-67
transmitter, HQ-180 receiver, a Ten-Tec Argonaut 515 for QRP, and a
homebrew antenna tuner. Other vintage and modern SSB transceivers
include an Icom IC-756, a Kenwood TS-520 (Bill's favorite), an Icom
IC-735, plus an Allied/Realistic SX-190 receiver.

The original low-power AM operating position at AA0RQ. Transmitter is a Knight T-60 which runs a screen-grid modulated 6DQ6 for about 60 watts plate power input. The receivers are a Hammarlund HQ-180 at top right and a Drake R-4B bottom left. This setup is also used for SWL operation.
